The Reason Tiger Woods Refuses To Hire A Driver Revealed

Tiger Woods’ plea is in!

On Tuesday, TMZ reported the pro golfer entered a not guilty plea after rolling his car and being arrested for a DUI in Jupiter Island, Florida. And guess who his lawyer is? Douglas Duncan, who you might remember represented him for his 2017 DUI!

According to court records seen by the outlet, Duncan was listed as Tiger’s lawyer and filed a waiver of the 50-year-old’s presence at a pretrial conference on Tuesday. When contacted by the outlet, his office responded with the following message:

When Tiger was arrested and charged with a DUI in 2017 after falling asleep at the wheel, he was slapped with three misdemeanor counts: DUI, reckless driving, and improper stopping. He pleaded guilty to reckless driving and agreed to serve 50 hours of community service on top of 12 months of probation.

During his Friday arrest, cops notably found hydrocodone pills in his pocket. And while the athlete passed a breathalyzer test, he showed “severe signs of impairment” and refused to take a urinalysis test. According to him, the crash occurred after he looked down at his phone to change the music, not realizing the vehicle in front of him had slowed.

Tiger was officially charged with DUI with property damage and refusal to submit a lawful test and is set to appear in court next month.
