TikTok Famous Hairstylist SLAMMED For Charging Thousands After Client Alleges She 'Touched My Hair For 60 Seconds'! Then Influencer Hell Breaks Loose!

TikTok Hairstylist SLAMMED For Charging $4k For Session Client Alleges She 'Touched My Hair For 60 Seconds' In! And Then All Influencer Hell Breaks Loose!

This hairby_chrissy drama is WILD, y’all!

In case you’re not caught up on all this TikTok lore, let us break it down for you. Chrissy Ellingson Rasmussen is an influencer hairstylist who works at her own Habit Salon, which has two locations in California and Arizona. The salon is SUPER popular with influencers. In fact, it’s been dubbed an “influencer salon” because of how often social media celebs go there. We mean, they’ll fly from other states, even other COUNTRIES, and pay upwards of 4 thousand bucks just to get their hair done by Chrissy. It’s no game!

Chrissy is known for her “Habit hand tied method” for tying in hair extensions. She perfected this method and even offers classes to teach others and make them “Habit certified” — which you may have even seen in your own hair salon! It’s taken over the world of extensions in the past couple years. These things really put her on the map and she now boasts over 3.5 million followers on TikTok where she shares her clients’ results in short videos.

She was one of the online world’s favorite influencer hairstylists… Until she got an “honest review” from a TikToker.

The young woman doesn’t share her name online, but goes by notfamous808 on social media platforms. She shared a video in early November where she revealed she went to the Habit Salon — not as an influencer, but as a regular client. You see, Chrissy is known for doing hair upkeep with specifically influencers, so everyone was really interested to see what a “regular person” — who didn’t have many followers at the time — had to say about the salon.

The TikTok user said in her video, at the very beginning, that the experience was “overwhelming” and you’re getting your hair pulled a bunch of different directions by “like ten people” crowding around you. She went on to say Chrissy didn’t even do the styling, she was “nowhere to be found” and “might’ve touched my hair for 60 seconds.” This shocked many viewers because of the sheer price the influencer charged for the session.

You can see the receipt notfamous808 shared (below):

WOW!

That’s a hefty price tag! The review went on to touch on several more critiques, including how “when you’re not famous and you go to Chrissy, she doesn’t actually spend time on your hair.” She alleges Chrissy’s workers were all “on different pages” while doing her hair and it didn’t “meet my expectations” with the price she paid.

Not to mention, this young lady alleged it was “TikTok land” because everyone in the salon was making content and even standing in her way because they were busy filming. Which she again described as “overwhelming.” See the full video (below):

This started one hell of a fallout, too!

After this review went viral and people started sharing their opinions on it, Chrissy took to her page and absolutely spammed Stories. Across her page were reposts of other influencer’s videos, seemingly referencing the original review, by requesting the “4k hair” experience. Chrissy also repeatedly changed her profile picture to photos of herself doing her clients’ hair while sticking out her tongue.

Following all this, Chrissy even posted notfamous808’s before and after photos herself. And then, she started selling merch of t-shirts saying “Hair in 4k” and “I paid 4k for this”! OMFG!! See it (below):

And this wasn’t even the end of the drama y’all! Influencers started coming forward alleging Chrissy didn’t charge them the $4k price tag for most of their services because they did “content swaps” — which allegedly means she was doing hair in exchange for a positive review or a TikTok ad — again, all alleged. See one of the most viral examples of this (below):

I love my hair and if I were that girl I’d be mad too over a whole arm and a leg payment BUT my experience is a lot different since I didn’t pay, there’s nothing to complain about on my end especially since I knew before hand that her team was going to do my hair

This is just one of several, too. Wild!

Chrissy ended up disabling her comments on TikTok after users began alleging she treated her paying clients differently because she wasn’t treating them with as much care as her influencer clients. This has been blowing up all over socials for a while now… And it’s not dying down yet. Chrissy is getting SLAMMED!

And now, new videos are coming out with allegations that Chrissy is sending cease and desists… Which, of course, there’s no proof of this besides a screenshot. Take it with a grain of salt.

Again, nothing is confirmed… But look how far all this drama has gone! SO freakin’ viral, it’s not even able to be contained by either party anymore. This is a whole thing. When she shared this review, notfamous808 only had a few thousand TikTok followers. Now she has over 275k!

On one final note, notfamous808 updated her Instagram bio to say this:

“kindness is def worth more than 4k”
