Totally fitting.
Tim Burton, known for his adaptations of creepy crawly stories, is in talks to direct and develop an adaptation of the novel, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children.
The book, which centers around a 16-year-old boy named Jacob who finds a mysterious orphanage that used to house children with special and dangerous abilities.
Things get even more interesting when Jacob begins to suspect that the children may still be alive.
There is yet to be a writer attached and a production schedule has not been given for the film, but the plan is for it to be released sometime in 2013.
What a perfect project for the director of weird and unusual stories. Wonder if Johnny Depp will squeeze his way into a role??
