Tom Brady seems to be cryptically commenting on Gisele Bündchen’s pregnancy… again!
As Perezcious readers know, a source for People confirmed last week that the model and her jiu-jitsu instructor boyfriend Joaquim Valente are expecting their first child together. TMZ believes she is five to six months along. So exciting — except for Tom!
The athlete is said to be “stunned” by the news, and he’s been posting cryptic messages ever since. His latest came via his Instagram Story on Tuesday when he posted a quote first said by Theodore Roosevelt. It read:
“It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs, and comes short again and again, because there is no effort without error and shortcoming.”

The quote went on to praise men who continue to fight for what they want, adding:
“But who does actually strive to do the deeds; who knows the great enthusiasms, the great devotions; who spends himself in a worthy cause; who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement, and who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.”

Was he still pining over Gisele? Did he think he still stood a chance at winning her back?!
The couple shockingly split after 13 years of marriage back in October 2022. They have been co-parenting son Benjamin, 14, and daughter Vivian, 11. The Brazilian, who first met her new man in 2021, quickly moved on with Joaquim (though she denied romance rumors for a while). With this bun in the oven confirmation, it’s clear she never looked back. So, if Tom had hope of reconciling, it was all for nothing!
As mentioned, right after Gisele’s announcement dropped, the former Patriots player took to his Story to share lyrics from the song Landslide. Specifically, the lines:
“Oh, mirror in the sky, what is love? Can the child within my heart rise above? Can I sail through the changing ocean tides? Can I handle the seasons of my life?”
