As the starting quarterback for the New England Patriots, Tom Brady knows there are plenty of kids out there who are looking up to him.
But after witnessing a horrifying 9-alarm fire which claimed the lives of two brave firefighters in his neighborhood, he says it’s pretty clear who the real heroes are.
The famed footballer says his wife Gisele Bundchen first told him about the blaze, and that he was actually able to see it from his apartments balcony. However, it wasn’t until they saw an explosion that they realized how dire the situation really was and decided to leave their home.
Tom was “blown away by the bravery and the teamwork” of the firefighters and says it really put things into perspective:
“When you witness firsthand what I saw yesterday, you realize who the real heroes are n this world.”
We couldn’t agree more.
We are still deeply saddened by the death of the two brave firefighters who lost their lives yesterday and our positive thoughts and prayers go out all of those who were affected by the horrible fire.
