Tom Brady hopes to move on just like Gisele Bündchen did. But he’s finding it a lot harder to do!
Ever since their divorce two years ago, the football god hasn’t dated as much as everyone expected. He was involved with Irina Shayk in 2023, but whatever on/off relationship they had “fizzled” out after only four months. He was romantically linked to other celebrities such as Kim Kardashian and Reese Witherspoon and Brooks Nader. However, pretty much everyone denied all those rumors. Other than that? It appears the guy has not been focused on the romance and instead prioritized his career, especially during his first year as an NFL commentator for FOX!

But now he’s ready to get back into the dating game amid Gisele’s baby news! No wonder Brady posted on Instagram earlier this week that classic pic you always see on Tinder! You know, the one where he’s shirtless while holding a fish! It screams that he’s on the hunt for a relationship — or at least a fling! Buuuut a few things have been making that a bit difficult! Not just because women are getting the ick from the recent fish pic!
For starters, an insider told Dailymail.com on Wednesday that he’s just too “busy” with work to devote time to his love life:
“Tom would love to date more but he is busy and very focused on his first year of being a commentator. It is easier to be single right now.”
According to the source, he threw himself into work to ignore everything he was feeling with the divorce, which has helped with Gisele now dating and starting a family with her jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente. Of course, all of that hurt Tom at first. However, as the insider said, this is how he works — he “snaps out of it,” stays “busy,” and remembers he will be OK:
“At first, everything stings. Her getting pregnant, her hanging out with Joaquim, her moving on. But then he snaps out of it and remains busy, knows that his life is pretty good and to worry about things he can’t control is a waste of time. He could complain but what’s the point. He got the best out of the relationship with Gisele until it fell apart, now it’s not his problem anymore. He will be fine.”
There’s no point in worrying constantly about things you can’t change! Gisele seems happy with Joaquim. She’s pregnant with his kid! She’s moved on! It’s better to let it all go and do so as well if that is what he wants. And find your own happiness, right?
However, work and life just keep getting in the way of dating for Tom! Plus, the 47-year-old athlete is afraid his decision not to have any more kids could get in the way of finding love again! The insider said:
“He doesn’t anticipate having more kids, and that makes it a little more difficult to find the right person.”

Tom is already a dad to 17-year-old son Jack, whom he shares with ex Bridget Moynahan, and shares 14-year-old son Benjamin and 11-year-old daughter Vivian with Gisele. He apparently has decided he’s done for good after three kids, even though he was “open” to having another one with his ex-wife! We guess that means he’s ruling out anyone who wants kids AND women who already have kids of their own? That’s a lot of eligible ladies off the table. We would like to point out, though, that there are plenty of women who don’t want kids but do want them some Brady! So Tom shouldn’t have too much trouble eventually finding someone on the same page… if he works at it! He just needs to be upfront about the matter with his dates!
Ultimately, the source feels that Tom won’t have a problem getting a girlfriend once he is fully available to get back out there:
“But when he’s got the time to dive into dating again, he’s Tom Brady, so how difficult will it be to find someone?”
