Tony Romo has joined forces with a group of other well-known celebrities to film a series of virtual greetings for Cameo Stars. The company allows visitors of their website to collect and send the greetings via their social network or phone.
Most of the videos range from birthday wishes to congratulations, but Tony chose to specifically film one message exclusively for those stationed in the armed forces overseas. The quarterback hopes his message will be sent via other Americans to someone they love who is serving our country. The cause is one that is close to his heart – his father was in the service.
Tony explains:
“Personally, I can’t thank the men and women who serve our country enough for everything that they do. My dad was in the service and I was raised to respect and revere everything that those in the military do for all of us and the freedoms that they provide. I want to make sure that different people know that we’re supporting them and want to help them out.”
Wonderful! It’s important to let our military peeps know how much we care about them! Nice to see Tony is behind that cause.
Course, it would have been nice to have seen this brand of kindness when he broke things off with Simpleton! Just saying!
