In Brunete, a town located on the outskirts of Madrid, Spain, there is a lot of dog poop found in the town’s streets.
This isn’t because of an overabundance of strays or anything, but mainly because of irresponsible dog owners who failed to clean up after their pup.
So the town came up with an inneresting idea├óΓé¼┬ª send volunteers to spot these irresponsible owners, chat them up and find out their dog’s name and breed.
A spokesman for the town council said:
“With the name of the dog and the breed it was possible to identify the owner from the registered pet database held in the town hall.”
So the volunteers would scoop the poop, seal it in a bag, put it in a box labeled “lost property” and then literally ship the poo back to the dog’s owner!!
That is as HIGHlarious as it is disgusting!!
