Rocker Travis Barker revealed that he had a crush on Paris Hilton‘s best friend during his relationship with the socialite back in 2006. Who was her bestie, you ask? None other than Kim Kardashian West, of course!

The Blink-182 drummer felt an undeniable connection when he first met Kanye West‘s now-wife in Amsterdam:

“Kim was Paris’ assistant. She got all of Paris’ belongings together wherever we traveled. How could you not stare at Kim? Mind you, I enjoyed hanging out with Paris, but I love curvy girls. Kim was eye candy. I was no way disrespectful to Paris, but I couldn’t keep my eyes off Kim!”

Awww. The father of two was smitten with the rising star!
Back in Calabasas, California, the new pals would still spend time together, and Keeks even enlisted Shanna Moakler‘s ex’s advice after his reality show Meet the Barkers:

“We would go out to eat, just hang out. Kim was like, ‘I really want to do this reality show. We’re supposed to do it with Ryan Seacrest. I just think my family’s interesting.’ I gave her the best advice I could but I still remember the conversation like yesterday: ‘I think my family is interesting and it could be something.’ Well, you were absolutely right!”

When asked if the relationship was strictly platonic, the Can I Say author shared:

“I had a crush on her and we were flirtatious but nothing ever happened. I don’t know! … She was so kind and polite, I just felt like being a perfect gentleman around her. It was a trip!”

We find it verrrry inneresting that Barker is now dating singer Rita Ora, who previously dated Kim’s baby bro Rob Kardashian! Guess we’ve come full circle!
