Aw! Travis Kelce seemed to be missing his number one fan at Sunday’s Kansas City Chiefs game!
The team had their first away game of the NFL season this weekend against the Atlanta Falcons in Georgia, but Taylor Swift was nowhere to be seen — and the tight end really seemed down in the dumps about it!
Throughout the game, the player was seen on the sidelines looking very sad. At one point, he was seen frowning as he spoke with quarterback and friend Patrick Mahomes. Later, he was spotted sitting on a bench by himself looking at the ground and wiping his eyes. It’s seriously so heartbreaking. He just seemed SO disappointed!

Travis is usually so happy and engaged at games. And they weren’t even losing! The Chiefs ended up winning 22 to 17! So, what happened?? FWIW, Patrick seemed to claim it was just a tough game for Trav. He said during a press conference:
“We’re calling a lot of plays for Travis and it’s like 2 or 3 people are going to him. He understands, I think that’s the great thing about him. He wants to make an impact in the game, but he wants to win at the end of the day.”

We could see that bumming him out! Meanwhile, another critic, Cris Collinsworth, suggested a possible rift between the players is causing the sadness and poor play, noting:

Hmm. We wonder if any of Taylor and Brittany Mahomes‘ political drama is impacting the boys, too?? Or maybe this really was just a bad day and nothing to be worried about?
So far, there’s been no reason to be concerned about the couple’s romance. In the last few weeks, sources have said that Travis and Taylor are absolutely loving their time together during her Eras Tour break and planning for the future. So, it doesn’t seem like this has anything to do with the state of their relationship — even though the singer chose to skip the game. That didn’t stop speculation, though! Fans wrote across social media:
“It’s the Taylor Swift affect… she crushes the soul of every man she dates… then dumps them and writes a hit song about how terrible they are. Kelce is ruined.”
