Man Pictured On Trump.Dating Website Has A Felony Child Sex Conviction!

Well, that took a turn.
On Monday, it was reported that the man pictured on the Trump.Dating website is a Tea Party activist with a child sex conviction. Oh, good.
In case you’re unfamiliar, this is a dating site targeted to straight, white Donald Trump supporters. No really — it’s only open to people who identify as a “straight man” or “straight woman,” and also asks you to name the strain of your whiteness (“Scandinavian/Mediterranean/Eastern European/Western European”).

According to local news station WRAL, the MAGA-hat wearing couple (pictured above) are William Barrett Riddleberger and Jodi Riddleberger. The outlet reports Riddleberger’s “past includes a felony conviction for taking indecent liberties with a child in in 1995.”
The offense is publicly listed on the state’s Department of Public Safety website, and the NC paper News & Record claims:

“Riddleberger was convicted in 1995 on the charge stemming from filming sex with a 15-year-old girl. He was then 25.”

The man told WRAL after the news broke:

“I’ve already paid my debt for something I did 25 years ago.”

In another entertaining tidbit, Riddleberger told the station that the dating site’s decision to allow users to list that they are “happily married” or “unhappily married” was being changed by a programmer, as it was a mistake. Sure.
