Donald Trump isn’t sounding too thrilled about the upcoming midterm elections!
While speaking with Reuters on Thursday, the outlet said the President “expressed frustration that his Republican Party could lose control of the U.S. House of Representatives or the Senate in this year’s midterm elections.” He explained during the interview:
“It’s some deep psychological thing, but when you win the presidency, you don’t win the midterms.”

He went on to say:
“When you think of it, we shouldn’t even have an election.”
Because he believes his administration has already accomplished so much. Oof! Not sounding too confident!
Of course, there’s a long time until November, but Trump is making it clear early on he doesn’t have much faith in Republicans to keep control of the House and Senate! Not to mention all the concerning comments he’s made as of late, acting like he’s about to go full authoritarian…
MAGA will call this “just a joke” or “trolling” but isn’t that what they always say? And then when something actually happens, when it turns out it wasn’t joke, they just move the goalpost and justify it?
Reactions, Perezcious readers?
