Trump Says 'A Whole Civilization Of People Will Die Tonight' In Ominous Message To Iran

Donald Trump has officially threatened to wipe out an entire civilization if he doesn’t get what he wants… This is not politics. This isn’t Republicans VS. Democrats. This isn’t international affairs. This is madness.

On Easter Sunday, the 47th President notably threatened Iran with large-scale attacks on their infrastructure should they not open the Strait of Hormuz by 8:00 p.m. EST on Tuesday:

“Tuesday will be Power Plant Day, and Bridge Day, all wrapped up in one, in Iran. There will be nothing like it!!! Open the F**kin’ Strait, you crazy bastards, or you’ll be living in Hell — JUST WATCH!”

He concluded the profanity-ridden message not with a nod to Christian Americans on what they consider the holiest day of the year, but with the following:

“Praise be to Allah. President DONALD J. TRUMP”

The shocking message was enough to bring Dems and Reps together on calling on the 25th Amendment, but Trump isn’t backing down. He’s spiraling into more terrifying territory.

On Tuesday morning, the convicted felon returned to Truth Social to issue another threat against Iran — but not just against their infrastructure this time. Against their people. GENOCIDE. He ominously wrote:

“A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again.”

Read that again and really let it sit with you. These are words spoken from a sitting President in 2026. He continued:

“I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?”

Referencing the 8:00 p.m. EST deadline he’s threatening Iran with, he continued:

“We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World. 47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!”

In the same breath he issued blessings to “the Great People of Iran,” Trump literally threatened them all with permanent extinction. What is it going to take for our government to wake up?! This appears to be a complete violation of not only our Constitution, but of the Geneva Conventions!

It’s not immediately clear what weaponry Trump is ominously threatening to attack Iran with, but such a large-scale threat against their “civilization” has brought to mind for many a chilling and blood-curdling potential. On Threads, users have made their concerns heard:

“I think he’s deranged enough to launch nukes. And that scares me to my bones”

“I think making a threat like this, is in itself, a crime against humanity, when done by a head of State who has an nuclear arsenal. We don’t need to discuss if he will or will not do, if it’s an ideal threat or a joke, or whatever nonsense excuse his supporters make. It’s a crime against humanity to threaten a genocide by way of nuclear weapons.”

“This is literal terrorism. You’re terrorizing people. He’s ruined over 10 years of all of our lives with this lunatic behavior”

“You mean the civilization that he invaded Iran to liberate? Now he’s threatening the very people whom he was supporting with genocide? Help.”

“I think he’s been itching to nuke something since the start of his first term. He would have been nuking hurricanes if they’d let him. Vance has jumped onto the nukes bandwagon.”

Following Trump’s post, Vice President JD Vance doubled down on the threat of large-scale attacks by alluding to “tools in our toolkit.”

“They’ve got to know we’ve got tools in our toolkit that we so far haven’t decided to use. The President of the United States can decide to use them, and will decide to use them if the Iranians don’t change their course of conduct.”

Iran has since responded to Trump’s threats with an official statement from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps:

“Self-restraint is over. Our response will now be carried out without any consideration, depriving the U.S. and its allies of oil and gas for years. If the U.S. Army crosses red lines, our response will exceed the region’s boundaries.”

Elsewhere on social media, more concerned parties from around the world have reacted:

“Even if he doesn’t go through with it, threatening a whole civilization is not acceptable. On any level. No matter what. It’s what some of the worst humans in history have done and he will go down with them.”

“What I find completely mind-boggling is that not one person has tried to stop this madness. Where’s Congress? Are none of them concerned at all? Do they actually read that and think ‘that’s what I want for the future?’ Where are the normal people in this administration? Is there even anyone in that White House that can stop this? And my final question — what in the actual f**k?”

“I just screamed at my husband for saying not to take him seriously. That this is how he negotiates. My husband hates Trump, too, but the very threat is enough of an issue. Whether he does it or not. There’s a mad man at the helm. The very words are destabilizing. May anyone who voted for this never know a moments peace.”

“The 25th Amendment is not enough. Your country is way beyond relying on amendments and its constitution. Trump is now the weapon of mass destruction. He’s the terrorist. His administration are his army. Enough is enough.”

“You have to treat this as serious, as he controls nuclear weapons and the only remaining guardrails against him – the house and senate – have declared that they will never stop him, not ever. So, take him seriously.”

“I can’t stop thinking about how different everyone’s actions would be if Osama Bin Laden were able to post ‘Towers might crumble, planes may be hijacked and crashed. I don’t want that to happen, but it probably will’ back then.”

“just imagine the nationwide outrage if the roles were reversed and [Kamala Harris] was president and tweeted this”

As of this week, Pete Hegseth, Trump’s Secretary of War, is facing articles of impeachment by House Democrats over the Iran war. US Representative Yassamin Ansari revealed in a video on X (Twitter) on Monday:

“What we have seen out of the Trump administration over this weekend has been absolutely horrifying and gut-wrenching. The threats against Iranian civilian infrastructure and the entire country of Iran are unreal and apocalyptic. Today, Donald Trump said, ‘The entire country could be taken out in one night. And that night might be tomorrow night.’ That was his quote.”

Watch for yourselves (below):

Ansari continued:

“Iran is a country of 90 million people. Threatening them with annihilation is a monstrous war crime and puts them, and American service members, and Americans, at great risk … as a chief enabler of this illegal war, Pete Hegseth is responsible for directing this insane military action against Iran, which has already killed thousands of civilians, led to the unnecessary death of American service members, and displaced over a million people in the region. That’s why I’m introducing articles of impeachment against Hegseth for repeatedly violating his oath of office and the Constitution, including the disregard of Congress and willful targeting of civilian infrastructure in Iran.”
