When will the world realize that a woman’s reproductive health is nobody’s choice but their own??
In Turkey, women have banded together to rise up against a new plan to all but ban abortions!
Around 3,000 women from 20 to 60 years old gathered at a square in Istanbul’s Kadikoy district to voice their complaints.
So what’s going on?
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has called abortion “murder,” and his government is working on plans to ban the operation after 4 weeks from conception, except in emergencies.
The biggest problem with this is that most women don’t learn they are pregnant until after 4 weeks and it’s difficult to establish the placement of the pregnancy sac during that period.
Abortion is presently legal in Turkey up to 10 weeks from conception — which seems to be working just fine for everyone.
There is an alarming trend starting around the world involving women’s reproductive health, and that people want to interfere with it.
It makes no sense!
