TV Reporter Couple Charged After Baby Ingests Cocaine -- From Mom's Breast Milk!

Horrible.
This is absolutely awful.
On Monday, a Tucson TV reporter couple was arraigned after their four-month-old baby was discovered to have cocaine in her system.
KOLD crime journalist Som Lisaius and his wife, KGUN9‘s former reporter Krystin Sorich Lisaius, are facing three criminal charges — including child abuse — after their infant daughter ingested cocaine after breastfeeding.

The news pair brought their baby to a nearby hospital last month after she was found lethargic and unresponsive.
According to the police report, the parents were reluctant to cooperate with doctors when they wanted to take a blood sample from the little girl.
But eventually, after the tiny tot went to another hospital, tests revealed she had the narcotic in her system. That’s when Krystin confessed to doing cocaine the night before.
The former reporter revealed that when she breastfed her baby the next morning, she became limp within half an hour. She described that the little one was unable to wake up, and her eyes were rolling back in her head.

Som had denied using the drug at first, but admitted he also did cocaine once he learned his wife had already told the truth. He even told the cops the couple use the illegal substance about “every six weeks or so.”
Plus, the baby’s godfather was also at Som and Krystin’s home that night, and told the police that he was doing cocaine with the couple.
Cops searched the pair’s house, and found 1.59 grams of coke, a scale, and other paraphernalia.
The baby girl is currently in the care of the Arizona Department of Child Safety, and is expected to make a full recovery.
Meanwhile, KOLD’s general manager has confirmed that Som no longer works at the station, and his bio has been taken off their website.
