The late Tyler Clementi is more than an inspiration to the gay community — his memory acts a reminder to EVERYONE about the importance of kindness, acceptance, and most importantly, love.
To honor Clementi’s memory and the work of his foundation, The Tyler Clementi Foundation, we appeared on an episode of Zoe Saldana‘s, My Hero, an AOL series dedicated to people who’ve affected the lives of celebrities in profound ways.
You can watch that HERE.
In light of our mission to eliminate bullying from this website AND our life, we chose to honor Tyler, who tragically took his life after his college roommate publicly outed him in a very despicable and humiliating way.
In the episode, we talk extensively about the late college student’s foundation, which aims to end online and offline bullying in schools, workplaces, and faith communities.
We feel extremely lucky to be given another opportunity to bring awareness to the bullying crisis and for the chance to remember Tyler’s beautiful soul.
