Tyler Perry Donates Over $430K To Pay Hundreds Of Walmart Shoppers' Christmas Bills!

Tyler Perry gave hundreds of Georgia shoppers the gift of financial relief this holiday season by picking up the tab on their layaways at Walmart!
After reports started circulating that the powerhouse filmmaker paid off almost 1,500 people’s bills by donating $432,635 to two locations of the retail titan, Perry took to Twitter to reveal himself as their Secret Santa.
The Nobody’s Fool director confessed he “was trying to do this anonymously,” in a Twitter video posted on Thursday. But since word got out, he figured he’d confirm that this Christmas miracle was no joke.

For those who don’t know, a layaway lets a customer reserve a product at a store and pay for it over time. But as Perry explained in the video, anyone who ordered a layaway at a Walmart in East Point, GA, near Atlanta, or a Walmart in Douglasville, GA as of 9:30 a.m. on Thursday only had to pay “one penny” to get their gifts — the rest was on him!
He added:

“I know it’s hard times, a lot of people are struggling and I’m just really, really grateful to be able to be in a position to do this. So God bless you, go get your stuff, and Merry Christmas.”

It really is a Madea Christmas miracle!
