Ugh! Just, why?!
Tyler the Creator was arrested at an airport in Texas on Saturday after he incited a riot at SXSW during his Thursday performance.
The cops had a warrant for the rapper, and according to Austin PD, he was arrested without incident. The charge was a Riot-Class A Misdemeanor and he’s being held on $3,500 bond.
What’s so ridiculous about Tyler doing this is that his concert was previously cancelled because of the driver who hit a crowd of people.
Austin PD added:
“Specifically, the subject encouraged a large crowd on more than one occasion to force themselves past venue employees controlling access at the venue which was already at full capacity.
Regardless of the size of a crowd, the encouragement of unruly and unlawful behavior is against the law and cannot be tolerated.”
Agreed! SXSW should be a place where people go to celebrate music and enjoy each other’s company. It should NOT be about riots.
