U2's Bono Gets His Own Spider Species!

You know you’re doing something right if a new species of spider is named after you!
U2 frontman Bono is now the proud king of trapdoor spiders….ok…not really…but the singer does have the honor of having a newly discovered species of spider named after him!
The spider was found at Joshua Tree and will now be classified as bonoi, an homage to Bono and U2’s album, The Joshua Tree.
Aaaahhhhhh, okay…we see what they’re going for! LOLz!
Congrats on the new species of spider, Bono! You too, entomologists!
