Olympic gold medalist Duncan Goodhew and UK TV presenter Gail Porter kicked off the launch of Swimathon 2011 today in London.
Swimathon is the world’s largest fundraising swim held in the UK.
And this coming April, around 22,000 swimmers will hit 580 pools across England to raise over $2.5 million for Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Swimathon Foundation.
The event, which has been run nationally since 1988, consists of three challenges, the Distance Challenge, SimplySwim and Corporate Challenge.
Good luck to all the participants!
