This nation’s bees are dying and no one was doing anything to help them├óΓé¼┬ª
Until the U.S. government came riding in on a bald eagle, an American flag waving in the wind behind them.
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is stepping in to make sure warning labels are placed on common neonictinoid pesticides.
Those specific types of pesticides are detrimental to bees and can cause Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD).
CCD is basically when worker bees just start disappearing from a hive for no reason.
Without a work force, the hive can’t survive, and so the colony collapses.
Bees are responsible for pollinating about $30 BILLION worth of crops every year! That’s a third of the food we consume!!
We had no idea that bees were THAT integral to our daily lives! This is really a big deal!!
C’mon, government! Let’s save those bees!!
