Usher Didn't Know Wife Was Getting Plastic Surgery!

According to the new issue of In Touch, Usher had no idea that wife Tameka Foster had gone down to Brazil to get a little nip and tuck.

So imagine his surprise when, as he was departing for a rehearsal for Clive Davis‘ pre-Grammy party, he got the call telling him that his wife had gone into cardiac arrest while going under for lipo.

Usher immediately flew out to be at her side. Foster was released from the hospital – finally – on Monday.

No one knows for sure why Usher’s wife decided not to inform him of her surgical plans, whether it was intended as a special surprise or Tameka feared disapproval for leaving their sons at home.

Either way, we wish her a speedy recovery and would recommend cross-checking her references next time!
