Things are getting messy for Usher.
We previously mentioned that the singer’s ex-wife Tameka Foster was filing for an emergency custody hearing after their son Usher Raymond V nearly drowned on Monday, and the courts granted it to her.
The hearing is scheduled for Friday, where Tameka plans to make her case that Usher is leaving his kids in the hands of people who shouldn’t be watching them.
The statement from his ex-wife also says that the kids said they’d rather be with their mom than the people Usher has charged with the well-being of his children.
Both parents are certainly going to feel like they’re the best choice for the children to live with, but we hope the courts unbiasedly rule which situation is actually better for the young boys.
Meanwhile, Tameka has just given an update on Usher V’s condition via Twitter:

It├óΓé¼Γäós a blessing that he’s going to be fine, but it will definitely be a wakeup call for the singer.
