Hearts everywhere are continuing to break for Vanessa Bryant and the families of those affected by the tragic helicopter accident on January 26, which claimed the lives of Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant along with seven others.

Though we can only imagine how Vanessa is coping with the immense loss, she shared a joyous moment amid her heartbreak.

On Saturday, the 37-year-old took to Instagram to post an adorable clip of her youngest daughter Capri Kobe Bryant smiling as she learns to stand. Vanessa captioned the heartwarming clip of her 7-month-old:

My Koko Bean. She looks just like my Gigi with her daddy’s eyes. ☀️❤️auntie Ri-Ri. #7months

The clip comes one day after the widow posted an announcement of the memorial set to take place later this month at the STAPLES Center in Los Angeles on a date which holds multiple significant meanings to the Bryants.

As she noted on IG, the date — 2/24/20 — represents #24, the jersey numbers worn by Kobe for the Los Angeles Lakers, #2, the number worn by Gigi on her youth basketball team, and the number of years which she and her husband had been together AND the number of years which Kobe played for the team.

Vanessa wrote:

“#2, #24, #20 years as a Laker and the amount of years Kob and I were together ❤️❤️??”

We truly have chills.

While no additional information has been released yet regarding ticketing for the memorial, we can imagine it will be an extremely difficult day in El Lay.

Lee Zeidman, president of the STAPLES Center, L.A. Live, and the Microsoft Theater, commented to the Los Angeles Times about how they plan to get the court ready following the memorial for the Los Angeles Clippers versus Memphis Grizzlies game that evening:

“Staples Center has hosted over 220 doubleheaders in its 20-year history. While this is going to be a very emotional day for the Bryant family, the Los Angeles Lakers, the city of Los Angeles, as well as for the men and women who work at Staples Center, we are very confident we will be ready for 6 p.m. doors opening for the Clippers-Memphis game following the ceremony.”

It’s obviously been a difficult week for Vanessa, who shared multiple tribute videos to her daughter Gigi during the official retirement ceremony for her jersey number at Mamba Sports Academy.
