Looks like Vanessa can’t quite shake the ghost of Nick & Jessica as a couple!
During Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo’s TLC reality special Nick & Vanessa├óΓé¼Γäós Dream Wedding, the name Jessica Simpson came up, and NOT in an extremely positive light.
Vanessa seemed to be less-than-thrilled with all the paparazzi that have taken notice of her wedding to Nick, and she believes that it stems from her hubby’s past with Jessica.
Here’s what Vanessa had to say about it:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós funny to me that they care, because I├óΓé¼Γäód like to think that Nick and I are somewhat boring. But they care.”
Vanessa has also referred to Jessica Simpson as the “elephant in the room,” and we could understand why she’d feel that way! There’s no escaping the history behind former newlyweds Nick and Jessica.
We just hope that the Jessica factor doesn’t become a problem in Vanessa and Nick’s marriage.
We wish them all the best, and hopefully the “elephant in the room” will seem less prominent over time.
