The DIY network officially announced this morning that they have green lighted a second season of The Vanilla Ice Project.
If you haven’t seen the show yet, it’s all about Vanilla Ice, real name Rob Van Winkle, putting his years of “experience” to good use and helping out on home improvement projects.
The GM for the network, Andy Singer, acknowledged:
“Rob’s home improvement knowledge has been an unexpected surprise for many of our viewers. He not only has skills important to DIY Network, Rob resonates with our audience. We are thrilled to continue working with him.”
Huh! Who knew?
Just another example of how reality television can resurrect ANYONE’S career!
