Consumer Reports Can't Get Behind Verizon's iPhone 4

Although iPhone users are chomping at the bit to use their device on the Verizon network, Consumer Reports is recommending that everyone hold off on purchasing the new phone.

It is possible the consumers would be stuck with a “short-lived” device as it has many shortcomings. The device fails to hold simultaneous data and voice sessions, which may be the result of an antenna issue.

“This is a transitional phone to tide Verizon through until the summer,” said the magazine.

A new model will be released mid-year.
