If you were still somehow doubting that Victoria Beckham is sitting pretty on top of the world, this should kill those skeptic thoughts real quick!
The 39-year-old fashion designer was the VERY deserving recipient of Glamour‘s Woman of the Decade Award at the Women of the Year Awards in London on Tuesday!
She also gave a super cute speech that included a shout-out to her Spice Girls days! She said:
“I want to congratulate all the women. I love to support women. Girl power! Thank you to Brooklyn, my date tonight and the most handsome man in the room, even though he├óΓé¼Γäós avoiding his homework. Thank you to Mum and Dad, my husband who supports my dreams, and Simon Fuller.”
Girl power, indeed!
According to Glamour UK, Posh won the award because of her many achievements — and there’s a lot. The mag explained:
“Record-breaking pop star, business mogul, fashion designer, mum-of-four, icon and, quite possibly, the most famous woman on the planet… We’re exhausted just writing it. The lady is a phenomenon, and a well-deserved awardee of our Woman of the Decade accolade.”
We couldn’t agree more!
And we will forever be in awe of Victoria’s successful transformation from pop superstar to critically acclaimed and respected fashion designer.
She’s an inspiration!
