Many small town girls dream of becoming globe-trotting supermodels, and now one woman is making their dreams come true!
Wahpillar Sonkarley is a modeling coach working with young girls at the Fresh Start School of Advanced Studies in Okolona, Mississippi to help them bring out their modeling potential.
She said:
“I have a heart and a passion to help young girls pursue what they love. [I want] to be a more positive role model in a community where there is not a lot of young role models.”
But Wahpillar doesn’t just focus on outer beauty. Her main goal is to instill self-confidence in these young girls.
Student Olivia Vinzant explains:
“In addition to learning how to model and pose, we learn to value not only our physical beauty but the things that make us who we are.”
Sounds like a super noble goal to us!
