With the new season of The Walking Dead JUST around the corner, tons of fans and zombie-lovers alike are getting ready to get their undead fix on!
Well U.K. chef James Thomlinson took things to a whole new disturbing level when he teamed up with Miss Cakehead to create a burger that actually tastes like human flesh!!
OK, soo before you officially freak out, let’s get a couple of things out of the way first: No, they did not put any actually human flesh in the burgers (as far as we know) and no, they did not eat any actual human flesh while making these burgers (we hope)!

So the question is, how on earth do they even know what human flesh tastes like? Well, they basically studied what famous cannibals (yes, they exist) in the past have said about the taste of human flesh, and then they did their best to recreate it using pork, veal, chicken livers, and bone marrow in their recipe!
For as gross as this sounds, we definitely gotta give these guys props for creativity here! Although we have to admit we’re a bit concerned that people will love it SO much that they’ll gain an insatiable urge to try ACTUAL human flesh, sparking a real life zombie apocalypse the likes of which we’ve never seen!
Let’s just say we’re getting our crossbows ready… You know, just in case!
