Harry Potter for Best Picture! Harry Potter for Best Picture!!!
Whether or not you think Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II was the best movie of the year, it’s been breaking all types of records and making all types of money, and it would be hard to deny the fact that it’s been a HUGE success.
That being said, we totally support Warner Bros in their efforts to land a Best Picture Oscar nomination for the final Potter film.
The studio plans to “absolutely, hands-down, across-the-board” launch a campaign for that Best Picture nom, and we wish them the best of luck with it!
Given the fact that the final Lord of the Rings film landed the Best Picture award back in 2003, we’re thinking WB might be able to pull off the same type of thing.
Does Deathly Hallows: Part II deserve a Best Picture nomination? Do U think it will get one???
