Well, this didn’t exactly happen like movie producers were probably hoping!
It may have taken months to notice since the movie itself first came out Christmas Day 2019, but someone finally found it: there’s a Hydro Flask accidentally chillin’ next to actor Timothée Chalamet in one scene of Little Women.

That’s right — the Starbucks cup infamously left behind in a Game of Thrones scene walked so the Hydro Flask here could run. It appears the mistake was first noticed — or, at least, first broadcast — by a TikTok user who pointed it out with a simple question:
“anyone else notice this?”
Sure enough, as is the case with most things on TikTok right now, Twitter took the original and ran with it, studying the scene very carefully and coming to their own conclusion. And that conclusion? Yes, yes, there is indeed a Hydro Flask left behind there by accident. WTF gives?? See some incredulous reactions (below):

LOLz! Talk about an ALL CAPS (over) reaction to something honestly pretty small, but it did provide for some funny responses by other social media users and fans of the movie. One social media user took this opportunity to give a sharp rebuke of the movie itself, writing:
“further proof why this movie is horrendous”
Like, OUCH! People on Twitter will always let you know how they feel about you! Even sometimes when it’s unprompted! LOLz!!
Another fan called out director Greta Gerwig for the issue, writing:
“GRETA HOW DID YOU LET THIS SLIDE”
Understandable! It’s gotta be super frustrating to make an entire movie and then see something like this once it’s already been distributed and shown to audiences. Nothing you can really do about it now, is there?!

The whole thing is a thousand times funnier because right before the movie hit theaters back in December, Gerwig, Chalamet, Laura Dern, and Saoirse Ronan hung out with Vanity Fair to break down THIS EXACT SCENE in detail! Seriously, watch this:
So many talented, observant people getting together to go through that entire scene with fine-toothed combs and none of them ever notice or mention the water bottle even once?! Too funny!!
