Death, A Proposal, Sex, & Starbucks?? -- Here's What Happened On This Week's 'Game Of Thrones'!

Last night’s “twisted and uncomfortable” Game of Thrones was a complete s**t show, which is maybe why Kit Harington said it was his favorite for fans to see??
Anyway, a lot happened to set up the final fight of the series between Cersei Lannister, Jon Snow, and Daenerys Targaryen– so let’s fill you in on what happened, shall we??

Pass the Dornish wine.

If you didn’t watch last night’s episode, titled, “The Last of the Starks”, you’re gonna want to stop reading here because SPOILERS YOU FOOLS!
First, we get one final goodbye for all those lost during the Battle of Winterfell. Through tears, the survivors light up the corpses in tribute, then party their asses off. Here’s where the action of the episode truly begins…

Lord Gendry’s Proposal

Gendry proposes to Arya
Following a power move by Daenerys to make a forever northern ally, Gendry Baratheon, who is newly minted Lord of Storm’s End, finds Arya to ask for her hand in marriage. In a surprise to no one, she denies him by saying, “I’m not a lady, I never have been. That’s not me.”
The Gendrya ship has officially sank!

Brienne, The Virgin

Briene and Jamie have sex
During a rousing drinking game to celebrate the death of the Night King, it is revealed Sir Brienne is a virgin. Jamie Lannister wastes no time in snatching that v-card, as the tension between the two have been building for the past few seasons. Sorry, Tormund!
The gold-handed knight decides to stay in Winterfell at first, but eventually knows he must leave to take down Cersei. Gwendoline Christie kicked some serious ass in her Emmy-worthy goodbye scene with Nikolaj Coster-Waldau — and that’s the tea.

Snitch Sansa

Sansa snitches on Jon's secret
Long story short, Jon told Bran to tell Sansa and Arya he is Aegon Targaryen, son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen, true heir to the Iron Throne. They all swear not to tell a sole, but only a few scenes later, Sansa spills the beans to her ex-husband Tyrion Lannister, who then tells Lord Varys. It’s really only a matter of time before EVERYONE knows. This is something Dany does not want and makes it explicitly clear to Jon.

Euron Greyjoy: Dragon Slayer

Euron kills Dany's dragon
Dany’s second dragon, Rhaegal, died at the hands of Euron Greyjoy and his men. They achieved this by building giant crossbows, capable of shooting massive arrows with great force enough to puncture thick dragon skin. This was the first time a human was able to kill the fantastic fire-breathing beast, and the Mother of Dragons was considerably crushed she lost another child. R.I.P. Viserion and Rhaegal. Euron also took Missandei prisoner, forcing all to go meet Cersei on her turf.

Cersei Is Still That Bitch

Cersi Kills Messandai
We’re not sure how many times someone needs to witness a horrible person and their horrible acts to confirm they are IN FACT horrible, but here we are again. Following Euron’s ambush at Dragonstone, Tyrion urges Dany to meet with Cersei and politely ask her to GTFO of King’s Landing and off the Iron Throne. Instead of bending the knee (because no one thought that would happen), Cersei kills Missandei. Her final words before being beheaded?? DRACARYS. Basically, set fire to them all!

The Mad Queen??

Is Dany the mad queen?
This episode disappointingly (in our opinion) set up Dany to meet the fate of her family and become completely mad — like her father. BOOOO. Following the death of her beloved dragon and confidant Missandei, Dany has crazy eyes and is out for fiery revenge. It’s honestly sad they’re taking this route, because up until this point, the leader was sound with mostly good intentions. AND Jon is cool with her ruling. We guess we’ll have to see how it plays out. Though, it does seem like Varys is out to kill her so Aegon, err, Jon can rule the seven kingdoms.

Dany Needs Her Coffee Fix!

The best moment of the episode might have been when some eagle-eyed fans spotted a STARBUCKS CUP (or a regularly disposable coffee cup) in Winterfell. Those intense night shoots were really getting to the actors, as you can clearly see a modern day coffee vessel in the shot where all are dining and praising Jon as Dany watches on.
Twitter had some of the best reactions, which you can ch-ch-check out (below)!
