Quite a few people were weirded out by it, but we say that would be the case for anyone BUT Lady GaGa. Things like that have become commonplace!
We actually thought it was a pretty nifty “vessel” and according to GaGa’s creative director, we haven’t seen the last of it!
“The vessel’s actually stored, and I’m sure it’ll come out again. I think it’s such a beautiful piece that I would like to bring it out again for a moment. I think we’re getting ready to do a lot of television in May, right before the album drops, so I think we’ll use it somewhere in there.”
The only issue we can see with that is that people will probably feel like they’ve seen it before. We have no problem what-so-ever with a reuse of rad things, but we get the feeling that fans are constantly expecting newer and more unusual things from GaGa.
Which isn’t the best, because that just puts constant pressure on her!
We don’t mind if she reuses things! It’s her music and voice (physically and metaphorically) that we love the most!
Oh, and on another note, that creative director seems a tad harsh:
“There was one time during the ‘Love Games’ video, [Gaga] had on Louboutins for the first time and we’re dancing on cement. Her toes were knocking against the shoes because my choreography is very challenging. But she kept dancing and her feet were bleeding.”
“It was almost the last couple of shots, and she limps over to me and she says, ‘Oh, my feet are hurting me,’ And I said, ‘You told me you wanted to a superstar…You dance till they say cut.'”
Or you incorporate bandages into fashion! LOLz!
