Case in Point: Three girls from Leeds in the UK have legally changed their names in homage to their favorite superstar, Madonna.
The trio combined their own family names with Madonna’s lyrics and songs.
The girls’ new legal names are:
– Lianne Madonna Vogue On The Cover Of A Magazine McHale Dawson,
– Emma Madonna Confessions On A Dance Floor McHale Dawson,
– Gemma Madonna True Blue Strike A Pose Carroll McHale Dawson Me Me Mitchel.
That’s a mouthful.
The girls are hoping this will prove that they are indeed the Material Girl’s biggest fans and have found that one of the challenges of such a name is trying to fit it all on Facebook.
The trio are trekking to see their idol in July in both London and Manchester. They have high hopes that their stunt will score them a chance to meet Madge.
We’re not sure if they’re devoted or deranged!
