High drama with the police involved for Wendy Williams and her husband, Kevin Hunter!
The Wendy Williams Show host dealt with New Jersey police last week when, according to a new report in Radar Online, Hunter called them after a fight erupted at their shared home after the TV host brought over a moving truck to take away some of her things.

According to the report, the 54-year-old TV personality got into it with Hunter after the moving truck showed up, and it was clear he did not agree that Williams could remove items from what had been their joint property.
According to the police report put out by the Livingston, N.J. Police Department, Hunter became irate and called the cops for help as things escalated (below):
“Mr. Hunter called the Livingston Police Department for assistance today because Ms. Hunter [Williams] showed up with a moving truck, and began packing items throughout the residence in order to move them to a new location.”
The report later explained that Hunter “demanded” the joint possessions in the home “be left alone,” before the exes were able to come to a compromise that appeared to suit everybody involved.

The police log states that ultimately after arguing — but no apparent physical contact or other crimes — the couple was able to come to a “fair compromise” (below):
“Ms. Hunter agreed she would remove personal belongings from the residence to include her clothing, shoes, personal paintings, and spare bedroom furnishings. Mr. and Mrs. Hunter mutually agreed to these terms, and further agreed that the remaining furnishings were to be undisturbed.”
Well then.
Apparently, the couple’s 18-year-old son Kevin Jr. was also home at the time of the disturbance, for what it’s worth. Police reportedly ran a domestic violence registry check on both Wendy and Kevin, but it turned out “negative” for both parties.

At least things eventually resolved themselves amicably, and nothing here turned ugly or violent. In the meantime, Wendy and Kevin are both still going through a lot right now, and the police reporting to a domestic incident like this just raises the stakes even further.
Here’s hoping cooler heads will always prevail, as they appear to have won out in favor of some common sense this time around. Could’ve been much scarier than it ended up being, y’all!
