Out-of-touch designer Tom Ford just put up $990 jeans for sale.
You may be wondering, what makes them worth all that dough?
Well, its made from Japanese selvedge denim that feels and looks raw but has been pre-washed and pre-shrunken so the indigo doesn’t rub off on your clothes. The button is plated with 18-karat gold, and the pockets are silk lined.
Even rich people are broke these days, Tom.
