Whoopi Goldberg is not one to hold back her opinion, so we aren’t really surprised by this — we’re just letting you guys know that it happened, and that Mitt might have to fight to get onto The View stage, even if he’s already scheduled!!
After hearing that damning 47% speech that was secretly recorded, Whoops took to Twitter to share her outrage with the world, as she particularly was bothered by the Presidential hopefuls remarks. She tweeted:
“Tweet to Mitt Romney, I once had a great deal of respect for you and many of ur stances. Well Mr. Romney the man I was talking about turned into a man who flushed his ideals down the drain.”
She then called him:
“a confused candidate, confused about what he really stands for and WHO he stands for.”
“Yes once I thought there was the possibility of a moderate Republican who could make the race with Obama at least interesting. But that was months ago before your desperation to be President made u forget your ideals. Yes sir a long time.”
She then finished up by pointing out that he provided almost universal health care to the state of Massachusetts when he was governor.
Honestly, we wonder why people have forgotten about this, too!
It’ll be super interesting, and potentially uncomfortable, to see him on The View in October!
