Tiffany Trump has a friend in Whoopi Goldberg!
After Tiffany was very rudely dissed at the Philipp Plein show Monday when several prominent fashion editors refused to sit beside her in the front row, the incident became a topic of discussion on The View.

And Whoopi immediately came to the First Daughter’s defense, even though the comedian is decidedly NOT a fan of Donald Trump.
The 61-year-old was appalled at how the younger woman had been treated at the show and said:
“You know what, Tiffany, I’m supposed to go to a couple more shows. I don’t know what’s going to happen, but I’m coming to sit with you. Because nobody’s talking politics. You’re looking at fashion! She doesn’t want to talk about her dad! She’s looking at the fashion! And for Elle magazine, a magazine that says it’s a woman’s magazine, to do this!”
Tiffany caught wind of the remark and tweeted at Whoopi, accepting the invitation!

Whoopi was also quick to clarify how this differs from boycotting Ivanka Trump‘s clothing line:
“And people say what is the difference between people boycotting Ivanka. There is a difference. That’s all about buying stuff. You’re buying stuff. This girl is looking at fashion, and she’s just looking at fashion. I just thought it was mean.”
She added:
“I don’t want to talk about your dad, but girl I will sit next to you ’cause I’ve been there when people have said, ‘Ooh we’re not gonna sit next to you.’ I will find your ass and sit next to you.”
