Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are deeply involved with charity ‘water,’ a clean water project in Ethiopia.
They were so involved in the charity that they actually went to Ethiopia to visit some of the communities benefiting from their charity.
There were areas with new wells they got to see, they spent time with villagers waiting for clean water and even got to see a well drilling rig in action.
The Smith’s raised almost $800,000 for the charity!

“Our trip to Ethiopia with charity:water was an incredibly eye-opening and authentic experience. It was extraordinary to meet and spend time with the people of Tigray and to see first-hand how clean water changes everything for these communities.”
One of the communities they visited was having a well drilled so that they no longer had to walk 3-hours round trip to get clean water.
We’re so glad one of the busiest families in Hollywood took some time to go see where their donations actually wind up.
