Wilmer Valderrama has Demi Lovato‘s back, no matter what!
Though the two haven’t been romantically involved for a while, Wilmer is still one of Demi’s “biggest support systems” after her drug overdose and stay in rehab, according to sources in the know.

Per the source speaking to Us Magazine, Wilmer is still very close to Demi, and he’s working hard to help her through this very difficult time (below):
“Demi and Wilmer are still in constant communication … They speak over the phone pretty much every day and see each other often.”

And thankfully, it sounds like the 26-year-old Lovato knows exactly how good she’s got it, too (below):
“She absolutely does not take that for granted. After her last relapse, she realized how short life can potentially be and it really resonated with her that she could lose everything at the snap of a finger. One of the last things that she would ever want to lose is Wilmer … [Demi] never wants to jeopardize her relationship with him, her family or friends, ever again.”
Awww! That all sounds great… and here’s one more thing. The source noted that while the pair isn’t romantic right now, rekindling their relationship “is definitely not out of the question.”
