Woody Allen Is Making Another Movie -- See Which Actors Are Still OK With Working With Him!

Woody Allen New Movie Spain Cast Actors

Woody Allen is getting back to making movies, whether anyone wants them or not.
His last film, A Rainy Day In New York, still has not found distribution in the U.S.
Last month, companies in France, Italy, and Germany announced they would be distributing the movie in their local markets, but Amazon Studios — which controlled the domestic rights — proved they had no intention of ever releasing it by actually giving back the rights to the director.

Woody has yet to find another domestic distributor and indeed may never find one…
But that’s not stopping him from lining up his NEXT movie!
Spanish financing group MediaPro, who previously worked with Allen on Vicki Cristina Barcelona and Midnight In Paris, announced Tuesday that Woody’s next film (currently unnamed but going under the production title WASP2019) will begin filming for them on July 10 in San Sebastian, Spain.
OK, so we know there are European companies willing to keep working with Woody.
But who the hell agreed to act in this thing??
All the stars of Allen’s previous films have been obliged to answer for that decision in recent years.
As the #MeToo movement kicked into high gear, the accusations against the Oscar winner came back into the spotlight.
Back in the early ’90s, Dylan Farrow, Allen’s daughter with Mia Farrow, claimed her father touched her inappropriately.
The charges created a media circus at the time, but after an investigation cleared Allen, everything went away for the most part…

But recently Dylan, now in her early 30s, reminded the public of her story — and this time people believed her.
Previous Allen actors Kate Winslet and Mira Sorvino publicly stated their regret in having worked for the man.
Young stars Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez donated the money they made on Rainy Day to the Time’s Up Legal Defense Fund.
Other actors, like Cate Blanchett and Javier Bardem, made more equivocal statements, saying ostensibly they weren’t willing to convict their one-time boss without a trial.

But they also haven’t worked with him since…

So who IS ready to put their reputation on the line to be in a Woody Allen movie that probably won’t even be released in North America??
So far, the cast includes Christoph WaltzWallace ShawnGina GershonElena Anaya, Louis Garrel, and Sergi López.

The rom com tells the story of a married couple who attend the San Sebastian film festival and get swept up in the romance of Spain and the film industry. Each falls in love with someone else.
Presumably they’re all adults.
Would YOU ever watch a new Woody Allen film again??
