Woody Allen Was Actually Accused Of Molesting Dylan Farrow Years Ago, But Was Not Prosecuted Because Of This Controversial Reason!

Woody Allen has certainly been at the center of a lot of controversy in his life.
But this latest claim has to be one of the most shocking and difficult matters.
Dylan Farrow came forward in an open letter to Hollywood and the world to accuse Woody of molestation when she was a child. But this wasn’t the first time she made these claims.
As a child, Dylan did address the matter with her mother and that turned into an investigation. However, that investigation and prosecution of the crime came to an end because of a very controversial move by state’s attorney Frank S. Maco.
While he claimed there was “probable cause” to prosecute Woody, he ended up dropping the case because Dylan seemed too “fragile” to handle the court case:

“[She was] traumatized to the extent that I did not have a confident witness to testify in any court setting, whether that’s a closed courtroom or an open courtroom.”

The state’s attorney is also still sticking by his decision to not take the child into court, which was supported at the time by Dylan’s mom, Mia Farrow. Frank has since said:

“[Dylan’s letter] does not change anything about my feelings as to the correctness of my words and actions back in ’92 and ’93. I had to first and foremost consider the child.”

During the battle between Mia and Woody, she ended up being awarded custody of Dylan. Woody was not granted visitation rights.
We’re not sure what will happen with this now that Dylan is speaking about it.
But we certainly hope everything turns out as it should, and those who might be suffering find some peace.
