Yolanda Hadid is a fierce grandma not to be messed with!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum caused some controversy on Instagram after she shared a carousel of photos in honor of her son Anwar‘s birthday on Monday. In the slideshow, she included two snaps of her granddaughter Khai Malik — one of which fans thought was incredibly “inappropriate”!

In one snapshot, Gigi Hadid‘s 4-year-old daughter could be seen standing by Anwar while at the rodeo. Take a look:

But it was a different snapshot that really stirred up some heated reactions. In the fifth photo of the set, Khai wears a red bathing suit while at the beach as her uncle plays in the sand in front of her. Her back is facing the camera, and while she’s completely covered up by her suit, some fans were disturbed to see that the photo still managed to highlight the child’s backside.
After catching sight of the pic, users slammed the model out of fear for Khai, writing:
“There is literal CREEPS everywhere and her parents have literally made it a point to give her a private life but this vile woman continues to expose her. This isn’t the first time she does this”
“Just showing pedos her bottom bare! Do you realise how many weirdos would have this photo now?? Pedos don’t care about a face! If I posted a photo of my daughters with the bottoms bare like that, I’d seek help!!”
“of course it’s f**ked up we can’t put innocent photos of our kids online without predators seeing them. That really f**king sucks. But we have to do right by our kids and it’s our job to protect them.”
Another viewer reacted:
“This is really inappropriate. A child’s privacy should always be respected posting such a photo is not okay. Please think about how this might affect her in the future.”
But Yolanda clapped back! The 61-year-old blasted off a feisty response to the message above, saying:
“Please go and harass somebody else’s feed. You are not welcome here!!!”
Others defended Yolanda, adding:
“She has her daughter’s blessing and she’s not even showing her granddaughter’s face.”
“All I see is a kid in a bathing suit. There’s literally nothing inappropriate showing”
“I think people are being extra. The child has on a bathing suit..damn”
Gigi and her ex Zayn Malik have been really protective about maintaining Khai’s privacy throughout her childhood by not revealing her face on social media. And sadly, fans aren’t wrong. In this day and age, you never know where photos will end up, especially of high-profile figures… So, we understand wanting to prioritize the child’s safety, but then again, Khai was fully clothed. Clearly, Yolanda didn’t mean any harm!
