Zelda Williams Gets A Beautiful Tattoo To Honor Her Late Father Robin Williams

Zelda Williams has found a beautiful way to honor the memory of her late father, Robin Williams.
On Wednesday, 25-year-old Zelda posted a photo to Instagram of a new hummingbird tattoo she got in tribute to Robin. The lovely black and white hummingbird on her hand is strategically placed above another tattoo, 7.21.51, which is Robin’s birthday.

Zelda captioned the pic:

“For poppo. Thank you to the incomparable @dr_woo_ssc for so beautifully bringing my reminders to life. I’ll always put my hand out to shake with a smile. As for this Instagram, I don’t know in what capacity I’ll continue using it in the future, but I’m leaving it up regardless so that fake accounts hoping to use my name or misuse my family’s photos will get no traction. To be clear, this is MY ONLY account. Publicly, I have Twitter, and this. If other people post quotes and photos claiming to be me or my family, please, do not send them personal information or click links, even for charity. They could be utilizing sympathy to scam you. For the record, no one has ever or will ever speak for me but me. Thank you.”

The hummingbird is significant because during a recent reception to celebrate Robin’s life, attendees were given wristbands that depicted a hummingbird image and included the phrase, “Love the Stillness of Life.”
Besides Zelda’s touching tribute, we like how Zelda made it quite clear that she will not tolerate internet trolls and cyber bullying. Based on the awful bullying Zelda faced on Twitter immediately after Robin’s death, we’re glad she used this post to take a stand against those who might wish to take advantage of a tragic situation.
While a tattoo won’t compensate for the loss of Robin, we think it’s a lovely way to remember the actor’s spectacular life.
Stay strong, Zelda.
