EXCLUSIVE! Zendaya Talks About Her Works With UNAIDS And How Young People Can Help!


Zendaya does it all!
Not only is the 19-year-old an actress, singer, model, and dancer, but she’s also a very generous humanitarian who dedicates a lot of her time to various charities.
We caught up with the Disney channel star at her World AIDS Day event in Beverly Hills on Tuesday, where she told us about her trip with UNAIDS to South Africa and why it’s a cause so near to her heart.

The Replay songstress shared:

“I think it’s really important as young people we’re not afraid to have the discussion and make it more normal. That way, people won’t be ashamed to go get tested.”

The purpose of the event was to raise awareness and funds to fast track the end of AIDS by the year 2030. There was a special performance by Tahj Mowry and HIV survivor Julie Lewis (mother of Grammy award-winning Ryan Lewis) was honored on behalf of the HIV/AIDS community.
