Zoë Kravitz is not letting the end of her engagement to Channing Tatum keep her from spending a night out on the town in New York City with one of her good friends!
On Friday, the Big Little Lies actress stepped out with Taylor Swift to enjoy a dinner — reportedly a looong one — at Chez Margaux in the Meatpacking District. They were also accompanied by comedian Jerrod Carmichael. And the group showed up in style, of course! For the evening, Zoë rocked an oversized black coat, a cream slip dress with lace detailing on the bottom, sheer black pantyhose, and black pumps. She accessorized with a brown handbag.

Meanwhile, Tay wore a Vivienne Westwood Sunday striped corset dress with burgundy Aquazzurra Twist 95 sandals and a black leather Vivienne Westwood Granny Frame. Check out the pictures of the two (below):

Per TMZ, Taylor, Zoë, and Jerrod had a long night out! They reportedly were at the restaurant for 8 hours! Damn! But can you blame them? They had a lot to catch up on! For starters, the pop star received six Grammy nominations that same day. We bet the group celebrated her amazing achievement! And then, we also can imagine they discussed the big news over the past few weeks: Zoë and Channing’s breakup.
As you will recall, news broke late last month that the pair called off their engagement and split after three years together. While neither Channing nor Zoë have addressed the breakup, sources have come forward to spill the tea on what happened. Don’t worry! It does not sound like we have another major cheating scandal. Instead, insiders claimed they “grew apart” and “realized they’re at different stages” as he needs to be in Los Angeles because of his daughter Everly, whom he shares with ex-wife Jenna Dewan. Meanwhile, Zoë wants to stay in NYC.
Page Six reported that there is “no bad blood” between them. In fact, the former couple are still “in touch.” They even plan to continue to work with each other in the upcoming movie Alpha Gang, which also stars Cate Blanchett, Dave Bautista, Steven Yeun, and Riley Keough. Wow! How mature of them!
We cannot help but wonder what Zoë had to say about the situation with Channing to Tay, though! Was the breakup really as amiable as sources have made it seem? Or is there a lot more to the story that Zoë is telling her pals like the 34-year-old singer? Hmm.
