Zoë Kravitz Shares Surprising Take On Ex-Fiancé Channing Tatum And Their Split!

Zoë Kravitz is opening up about Channing Tatum.

The Batman star sat down with Elle for an interview published on Tuesday, where she had a surprising take on her ex-fiancé. While discussing her directorial debut Blink Twice, the 36-year-old responded to a question asking if her former lover’s starring role now changes how she feels about the film she worked so hard on. She told the outlet:

“Not at all. I love this thing that we made together, and I care for him very much. Even when you bring up how great his performance is, it warms my heart to hear that, and I’m so happy that all of it happened.”

Seemingly referring to the 2024 film and their relationship overall, Zoë added:

“I just feel so grateful that we got to go on that journey together.”

Oh wow! That’s incredibly mature! It’s too often we hear of such tumultuous splits, so we’re happy to hear she still has so much love and respect for the Magic Mike star. The High Fidelity actress even took things a step further by gushing about all the exciting projects he has in the pipeline:

“He has so much more coming, and I think he’s in a place as an actor where he’s feeling really confident and people are seeing different sides of him. He’s got a lot to offer, so I’m excited for people to keep witnessing that.”

Awww! Talk about a plug! LOLz! It’s too bad things didn’t work out between them. They just seemed so great together! Back in December, Zoë first made mention of Channing after their split in a similar conversation about Blink Twice with director Matt Reeves. Talking about casting him in the lead role, she explained:

“Channing was the first person I thought of for Slater King … I knew that the character needed to be somebody who we think we trust … I wanted to weaponize his charisma. We’ve never seen him do something like that.”

So much faith in him! The former fiancés split up in October 2024 after three years of dating. A source told Page Six on Tuesday there’s “no bad blood” between the two:

“They really just grew apart and decided it was best for them to go their separate ways.”
