35 Zoo Animals Freeze To Death In Mexico

This is unfortunate news.
35 zoo animals have frozen to death in Mexico due to the areas coldest winter in 60 years with temperatures reaching 9 degrees Fahrenheit.
So sad!
14 parrots, 13 serpents, 5 iguanas, 2 crocodiles and a capuchin monkey died at the Serengeti Zoo in northern Mexico because power failures cut off electrical heating at the zoo.
Animals aren’t the only creatures being affected by the uncharacteristically cold temp as power outages across northern Mexico have forced factories and businesses to close with dozens in shelters.
We hate to hear this kind of news, but we hope it warms up down there for both the humans and animals sake!
