Britney Spears missed her court-ordered deposition on Wednesday, and her lawyers are trying to spin it like she was too ill to attend.

Yeah, right!

Speaking at a press conference after Unfitney was a no-show, Kevin Federline‘s lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, said:

“Approximately 10 minutes after her council appeared they were notified that because of an illness or medical condition Ms. Spears would not appear today and consequently the depsition is not going forward.”

Girl has no respect for the law!

No word on when the former pop star’s deposition will be rescheduled.
